Freelance copywriting
Five pages for a one-person copywriting practice in Chicago: three services with starting prices and what each includes, a work page that shows three projects as before-and-after sentences with no client names, a week-by-week account of how a project runs, and an inquiry form that asks for the problem rather than a finished brief. The design, the writing and the images all came from the brief below.

The three services, each explained in plain terms with what is included and the starting price: website copy from $1,800 (five pages, two revision rounds, three weeks), email sequences from $900 (a welcome or nurture sequence of five to seven emails), case studies $650 each (interview, draft, one revision). The day rate of $650 for agency and retainer work. What is not offered: social media posting, ads management, and SEO audits. No packages with cute names.

Three short project write-ups, each describing the kind of business (a regional HVAC company, a family law practice, a commercial cleaning firm), what the copy had to do, and what was delivered, in a few plain sentences each. No client names, no logos, no quotes. Before-and-after examples of a single sentence are welcome where they make the point.

Who the writer is and how they work, in first person and short: the years of in-house marketing work before going freelance, why they only take three projects at a time, how a project actually runs week by week, and what they will push back on. One portrait, unposed.

The inquiry form: name, email, company, which service, and a message with a note that a rough idea of the site or the problem is enough. State that inquiries are answered within two business days, and that the writer will say so plainly if the project is not a fit. Email address and city as text.
