01. / Websites for nonprofits

A website that explains the work and asks people to help.

Describe what your organization does, answer a few questions about who you serve, and Designhouse builds the site: the mission, a page for each program, and a volunteer form that reaches your inbox.

02. / Alder Lot Community Farm

Built from one written brief.

What a first-time volunteer actually wants to know: where to meet, what to wear, and whether it goes ahead in the rain.

03. / WHY DESIGNHOUSE

Built for how you work.

01

Specifics, not boilerplate

Answer a few questions about who you serve and what a week actually looks like, and that is what the mission and program pages say, in the words you used.

02

Volunteers, in your inbox

A volunteer form that is working from the moment you publish. Every signup arrives by email and stays in the dashboard list, so the person who offered on Sunday is still there on Wednesday.

03

A budget of zero is enough

Start free, with no card, and publish the whole site. Upgrade only when you want it on a domain of your own.

04. / THE SITE

What your site includes

A whole website, planned around your business. Add, rename, or remove pages any time, by chat.

01

Home

The work, and the one thing you need people for.

02

Mission

What you do, for whom, and why.

03

Programs

A page per program or initiative.

04

Get involved

A form asking when someone can help, and how.

05

Contact

How to reach the people who run it.

05. / QUESTIONS
Can we take donations through the site?
Not on the site itself. Donations go through the platform you already use, like PayPal Giving, GoFundMe or Givebutter. Say in chat where the donate buttons belong and the site puts them there, pointing at your page.
Can volunteers sign up on the site?
Yes. The form can ask for a name, an email, a phone number, the days they are free and which program they want to help with. You take it from there by email.
Who keeps the site updated?
Anyone on your team who can type. You describe the change in chat and publish it, so the site does not go stale when the person who built it moves on.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You type what you want changed, like "change the phone number" or "make the background white," and the AI makes it. There's no code to write and no page builder to learn.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Connect your domain on the Pro plan, SSL included. Free sites publish to a designhouse.site address.
What does it cost, and what if I stop?
Free to start, no card required. Every new account includes enough build credit to create your site and take it live. You can cancel any time and your published site stays up.
