Karate school

Northline Martial Arts: A karate school website, built from one brief.

A karate-school website with separate routes for junior, teen, and adult students. Program descriptions explain ages and membership prices, while the timetable shows the weekly class options. An introduction request lets an adult student or parent share the program and preferred session.

The brief

The starting brief.

This brief guided the design and content. Compare its goals and details with the website and page previews below.

Purpose
Help families and adults understand the karate programmes and request a first class.
Audience
Calgary parents choosing an activity for children aged seven and up, teenagers and adults starting karate.
Tone
Respectful, grounded and welcoming. Explain practice and progression without tough-guy language or inflated promises.
Key facts
  • A Calgary karate school with junior classes for ages 7 to 11, teen classes for ages 12 to 16 and adult classes for ages 17 and up.

  • Training includes basic stances, controlled partner practice, movement sequences and age-appropriate class routines. Beginners are welcome in each age group.
  • For the first class wear comfortable exercise clothes and bring water. The school discusses the right programme and what to expect before the visit.
  • A parent or guardian makes enquiries for anyone under 18. Collect their contact details and the intended age group, not a child's exact birth date or sensitive information.
  • No instructor names, ranks, affiliations, competition results or grading fees have been supplied. Do not invent these or guarantee confidence, self-defence outcomes or belt advancement.
