We offer Canadian and US shipping to most areas for all our products for a 5% charge (minimum $15). Shipping to other countries is 20% (minimum $35).
The percentage calculation is based on the total sale price rounded up to the nearest $100 for sales up to $1000 or the nearest $500 for sales over $1000.
If your order is in stock, we will ship within 3 business days. If the product is not in stock we will inform you of the expected lead time and our delivery plans. You will then have the choice to wait or cancel.
Our standard shipping covers delivery to the main urban areas within Canada and the USA. Delivery to other parts of Canada and the USA may be subject to additional charges. If there is going to be an additional shipping charge designhouse will contact you within 14 days of receiving the order. At such time you will have the option of canceling the order without penalty or paying the difference.
designhouse is not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense related to any delay in shipment or delivery.
designhouse is located in British Columbia, Canada. We charge GST and PST on all orders fulfilled to customers in B.C. Sales made and shipped to customers in other provinces are charged the HST if they have that tax in their province, and just GST if they do not.
Orders taken and shipped to customer in other countries, including the USA, are exempt from all Canadian taxes.
Returns from a Web Purchase
Sale items showing in the Outlet section and all custom orders are not eligible for return.
Eligible products may be returned for store credit or exchange within 10 days of receipt of goods. They will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Returns must be pre-authorized by calling 604 681 2800 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. All returns must be accompanied by the original receipt, in original condition and in original packaging. Returned items must be packed and sent at the customer's expense to: designhouse, 851 Homer Street Vancouver, BC V6B 2W2.
When your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and the amount of your store credit. The credit will be issued in the form of a Gift Card which you may use to purchase other items on our website.
Returns from a Store Purchase
Sale items and custom orders are not eligible for return.
Customers have 3 days from date of purchase to cancel or return eligible product for a full refund, or 10 days for a store credit.
If an item is not in stock when purchased and needs to be ordered, the customers has 10 days to return it after receipt of the eligible product, for a store credit. In this case the return is subject to a 15% restocking fee.
